Blank page

Hi,

I have created a site collection, installed all the features, web.config as the Developer's Guide says and a new CS Publishing site.

When I create a new Publishing Page using any CS default page layout (for example 'Complete Shrepoint - Contents') it is displayed blank. I can edit it's properties and actually save contents, however I can't display it.
Using 'View Source' i get:
<html xmlns:mso="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" xmlns:msdt="uuid:C2F41010-65B3-11d1-A29F-00AA00C14882"><head>
<!--[if gte mso 9]><xml>
<mso:CustomDocumentProperties>
<mso:CompleteSharepointNETVisible msdt:dt="string">1</mso:CompleteSharepointNETVisible>
<mso:CompleteSharepointNETPublishingStartDate msdt:dt="string">2009-10-23T11:23:02Z</mso:CompleteSharepointNETPublishingStartDate>
<mso:CompleteSharepointNETPageOrder msdt:dt="string">0</mso:CompleteSharepointNETPageOrder>
<mso:CompleteSharepointNETMetaDescription msdt:dt="string"></mso:CompleteSharepointNETMetaDescription>
<mso:CompleteSharepointNETWelcomePage msdt:dt="string">0</mso:CompleteSharepointNETWelcomePage>
<mso:ContentType msdt:dt="string">CompleteSharepoint Article Page</mso:ContentType>
<mso:CompleteSharepointNETPublishingEndDate msdt:dt="string">2009-10-23T11:23:02Z</mso:CompleteSharepointNETPublishingEndDate>
<mso:CompleteSharepointNETAlwaysPublished msdt:dt="string">1</mso:CompleteSharepointNETAlwaysPublished>
<mso:CompleteSharepointNETNeverExpired msdt:dt="string">1</mso:CompleteSharepointNETNeverExpired>
<mso:CompleteSharepointNETPageLayout msdt:dt="string">/_catalogs/masterpage/CompleteSharepoint/Content.aspx</mso:CompleteSharepointNETPageLayout>
<mso:CompleteSharepointNETEnabled msdt:dt="string">1</mso:CompleteSharepointNETEnabled>
<mso:CompleteSharepointNETMetaKeywords msdt:dt="string"></mso:CompleteSharepointNETMetaKeywords>
</mso:CustomDocumentProperties>
</xml><![endif]-->
<title>obelix</title></head>

What could be the problem?

Thanks,
JP

Have you included the CS.NET publishing HTTP module in web.config?

 Yes.

        <httpModules>
            <clear />
            <add name="ScriptModule" type="System.Web.Handlers.ScriptModule, System.Web.Extensions, Version=3.5.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31BF3856AD364E35" />
            <add name="SPRequest" type="Microsoft.SharePoint.ApplicationRuntime.SPRequestModule, Microsoft.SharePoint, Version=12.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=71e9bce111e9429c" />
            <add name="OutputCache" type="System.Web.Caching.OutputCacheModule" />
            <add name="FormsAuthentication" type="System.Web.Security.FormsAuthenticationModule" />
            <add name="UrlAuthorization" type="System.Web.Security.UrlAuthorizationModule" />

I have the same problem now - when adding an alternate access mapping to my cs.net colution - like created it with www.myhost.com - which seems to be working - then i add an alternate access mapping to www.myhostings.com - and i get a blank page with same content as pequenao

Has this issue been resolved? - we use cs.2.1 still.

Thanks

Ole,

I'm not sure what's causing it since you've added the CS.NET module. I don't have problems adding multiple alternace access mappings myself.

What I can suggest is to upgrade it to 3.0 since there is no major architectural change just bug fixes and updates to the web controls anyway. Make a backup first though of the 2.1 WSP just in case.

I'm wandering it may be something to do with the .NET framework/WSS patches?

Cheers,

Tommy

Hi
Was anyone able to solve the blank page issues on SharePoint Foundation Server 2010. If so could you please let me know what needs to be done to resolve it!

View source does not have anything

<html xmlns:mso="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" xmlns:msdt="uuid:C2F41010-65B3-11d1-A29F-00AA00C14882"><head>

Thanks in advance
